This apartment is located in Vake and has a total area of 170 sq. m. It includes four bedrooms, including a master bedroom, three bathrooms, a combined living and dining area, as well as a kitchen, a study, and a children’s room.
From the very beginning, the client’s vision and mine aligned. They wanted to make the apartment as bright as possible within a chosen stylistic direction, without deviating from it. Our tastes coincided, settling on a Mid-Century Modern aesthetic. Our tastes matched – this aesthetic turned out to be Mid-Century Modern.

When we selected wallpaper from the brand Cole and Son, this choice inspired the idea of pairing them with Soviet-era posters. The apartment’s owner, Beso Kutateladze, is a great admirer of art and has a strong understanding of design, which greatly helped during the process. He particularly loves painting and collects Soviet posters, so his collection fit perfectly into the interior.

I often use built-in doors in my projects, and I applied the same approach here. We expanded the corridor and created a hallway with wooden panels. On the left is a wardrobe space, and on the right is a laundry room. Along the wall, a hidden door leads to the children’s room.

The master bedroom features black wallpaper. From the black-toned master, we transition into the study, which is designed in green. The color palette flows harmoniously from black to green, and stylistically, I believe the result is quite interesting. Through lighting, I created a sense of coziness in the study.

As for the master bathroom, it is also entirely done in black, using wallpaper from the same brand. The bedroom turned out to be very practical and functional, as it connects with both the bathroom and the study, creating an overall intimate atmosphere.

In my other projects, I often use natural stone in interiors, and here we used travertine, which added a special charm to the space. In general, the combination of natural materials with more refined details resulted in an interesting synthesis.

The large green table, one of the standout elements of the apartment, was the owner’s idea and emerged from the idea of the green study. This table creates an aesthetic and conceptual bridge with the study.
For me, working with the client is especially important — how they engage in the process. In this case, I was fortunate that everything flowed harmoniously, which can be clearly seen in the final result.
