The first time I came to the space of "Tbilisi Hills", I was overwhelmed with the feeling that I wanted to live here. The firstcomer always gets more choices, but the more options there are, the harder it is to choose. I knew that plots with views of Tbilisi would be more in demand and commercially justified.
I am an architect by profession. After graduating from the Moscow Architectural Institute, I lived and worked in Moscow. Following the war, I moved to Georgia with my family and am very happy to have returned to my homeland, where I now have the opportunity to work on interesting projects. Over the past two years,
This apartment is located in a residential complex that immediately gave us a sense of peace and tranquility, thanks to the large green inner courtyard surrounded by residential buildings. The apartment we designed is situated on the second floor of a four-story building, with a total area of 175 square meters. We were faced with the following situation: within the space, we had to plan a guest room, a kitchen and three bedrooms.
The house is a living organism for me. My family and I live in the house where my spouse spent his childhood, located on one of the most distinctive and outstanding streets in Tbilisi, Zandukeli Street. Our children, Nanka and Kira, belong to the sixth generation raised here. You can feel the Tbilisi atmosphere as soon as you enter the house. Information about when and by whom the building was constructed is not available to us. We know from stories that my spouse's grandfather, who lived on Plekhanov at that time, came across this house by chance. Over time, the house grew along with the family.
In my search for a location that would integrate my passion for design seamlessly with the eye-catching nature of Georgia, I was led to the high mountains of Bethania, at an altitude of 1400 metres. Here, on the edge of a massive rocky cliff, I began a project aimed at creating a space that would embody a synthesis with nature through simple and elegant design. The construction took four months to complete.
My spouse and I purchased the land for our future two-story house around 15 years ago in Kaklebi, at a time when development in the area had not yet commenced. We were immediately captivated by the stunning panoramic views overlooking the entire city. The construction process faced delays, and it took us 15 years to complete the house.
